Had such a nice day today. Woke up and my friend Ngaio came for breakfast so we picked out an outfit for her to wear to a wedding today. Then I read my book in the sun on my front steps, next to my pot plants that I planted myself and still haven't died! Then my friend Sal popped in and we wandered around the corner to get milkshakes. I spent the afternoon on the phone talking to my friend Emma and my sister Cat and I finished my book, The American Wife. Was really good but I felt like the end was a bit of a let down. Still a good read. I'm feeling happy today. Things are good. And I got some new running gear from Nike so I'm going to head out for a run soon xx
